  1. I have had several skin cancers removed over the years. I once bought Dermasil lotion at General Dollar store and applied it on my face before bedtime. I liked the smoothness of it and the scent but I felt some itching during the night. In the morning I had hives, rash and swollen eyes. I looked at the label and it said made in China. I used aloe vera gel from our plant everyday until my skin was clear. It’s very healing and clears up any skin problem. Aveeno unscented soap and unscented lotion is okay for me and also Palmer’s cocoa butter too. I have had past experiences with hives and rashes after eating a bakery item that had coconut in it. I investigated the ingredients and learned the coconut was treated with sulfites although it didn’t say this on the label. I also had a similar bad reaction after eating fruit cake that had candied fruit in it. Skin problems can be caused externally by certain skin products and can also be caused internally by diet. Know that labels don’t tell you everything, so beware.
